I don't know what you add to the soil you use, but all the plants are that much bigger and so lush! I planted spring bulbs (tulips, daffodils, hyacinths and allium (as you suggested) among the later blooming plants which resulted in a beautiful display in our early spring - beginning in March! Of course, everything is set off beautifully by the stunning driveway and walkway. We've had numerius compliments.
